Separate recurring work from occasional projects
Washing, dishes and grocery errands repeat. Sorting an entire wardrobe is a different kind of project. Put recurring essentials into the weekly plan, then discuss occasional jobs as additions or replacements rather than expecting the list to grow without extra time.
Put tasks into a workable order
Some jobs depend on others. Laundry needs time to wash and dry before folding. A kitchen cupboard is easier to clean after decisions about its contents have been made. Share those dependencies with the team when planning a visit.
- Start machine cycles early if laundering is included.
- Keep clean laundry ready when booking folding only.
- Confirm collection windows before planning errands.
- Leave time for putting items away, not just cleaning them.
Make the handover repeatable
Write down a short set of preferences: how towels are folded, where essentials belong and which rooms matter most. Do not put passwords or access codes into a general task list or online form.
Review when life changes
Guests, school routines, travel and work commitments can change the support you need. Agree changes to the scope, schedule and quote before the next visit so the plan stays useful and realistic.
